For donations of €40 or more, you can obtain a tax certificate. This can give you a tax advantage.
Explicit mention of “Donation” is required.

- to advertise on our website and/or in our quarterly magazine

BOKS non-profit association as heir
You can make BOKS non-profit association your heir.
A legacy to a non-profit BOKS association is fiscally advantageous, as the inheritance tax for a non-profit BOKS association is only 8.8%. This way, your inheritance can be used as optimally as possible.
The duo legacy gives you the opportunity to create a win-win situation for both those to whom you leave a portion and for the non-profit BOKS association. With a duo legacy, the non-profit BOKS association pays the inheritance tax on the amount donated to the heirs! In this way, you can benefit your own heirs and make a donation at the same time. The non-profit BOKS association will be happy to provide you with more information if you are considering such a duo legacy.
You can leave a legacy to BOKS non-profit association by stating in your will that you leave part or all of your possessions, if you have no legal heirs, to BOKS non-profit association. This can be done in either a handwritten or a notarial will. To avoid misunderstandings, we advise you to leave your will, whatever form it is, with a notary for safekeeping.
!! The Flemish government approved a preliminary draft decree that may have an impact on the dual legacy. At BOKS non-profit association we follow the developments closely and inform you via our newsletter as soon as more information is available.
We recommend that anyone who has included a dual legacy in a will have the will reviewed by a notary and amended if necessary.
